Ripley Main Street plans outdoor movie and back-to-school bash at The Cut-Off

Ripley Main Street announced two family events at The Cut-Off, 204 South Commerce St., in Ripley, Miss., scheduled for Aug. 14 and Aug. 15.

The organization said Movie Night will begin at dusk on Aug. 14 with a screening of “Zootopia 2.” Rebel Services LLC is sponsoring the event, and Ripley Main Street encouraged attendees to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets and snacks for the free family film.

On Aug. 15, Ripley Main Street said it will host a Back to School Bash featuring face painting, games, pop-up vendors, food trucks and a school supply giveaway.

Ripley Main Street invited residents to attend both evenings as the city marks the start of the new school year, the organization said.
