Ripley Main Street schedules free movie night and back-to-school bash Aug. 14-15

Ripley Main Street announced two community events at The Cut-Off during the weekend of Aug. 14-15, including a free outdoor movie showing of “Zootopia 2,” the organization said in a post.

Movie Night is set for Friday, Aug. 14, at dusk. Ripley Main Street said families should bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets and are welcome to bring popcorn; the screening is sponsored by Rebel Services LLC.

The Back to School Bash is planned for Saturday, Aug. 15. Ripley Main Street said the event will include face painting, games, pop-up vendors, food trucks and a school supply giveaway.

Both events will take place at The Cut-Off, 204 S. Commerce St. in Ripley, Mississippi. Ripley Main Street encouraged residents to attend both evenings.
