Ripley schedules free outdoor movie and back-to-school bash at The Cut-Off

Ripley Main Street announced two community events at The Cut-Off, 204 South Commerce Street in Ripley, Mississippi: a free outdoor screening of “Zootopia 2” at dusk Friday, Aug. 14, and a Back to School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 15.

The group said attendees should bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets for the movie night and that popcorn will be available. Ripley Main Street said Rebel Services, LLC is sponsoring the film screening.

Ripley Main Street said the Back to School Bash will include face painting, games, pop-up vendors, food trucks and a school supply giveaway to mark the start of the new school year.

Organizers encouraged residents to attend both events and make plans to spend the evenings at The Cut-Off, Ripley Main Street said.
