Dangerous Heat and Humidity to Continue in Memphis Area, NWS Says
The National Weather Service in Memphis, Tennessee, warned that dangerous heat and humidity will persist across the region, and that temperatures are expected to continue rising, the agency said.
The office said humidity may become slightly lower by the end of the week, but the change will not prevent temperatures from increasing.
Officials advised residents to remain hydrated. The agency urged people who must be outdoors to go early or late in the day and to wear light-colored clothing, the National Weather Service said.
