Man charged in vehicle burglary at Carlock Toyota
Police charged Walter J. Wright, 45, of Fulton, with two counts of burglary of a vehicle after an investigation into a reported theft at a car dealership, authorities said.
Officers responded Aug. 21, 2026, to 882 Cross Creek Drive at Carlock Toyota after a victim reported property taken from a vehicle, police said.
After further investigation, Wright — who had been arrested previously on unrelated charges — was charged on Aug. 25, 2026, authorities said. The charges will be presented to the Lee County grand jury, police said.
Tupelo Municipal Court records show Judge Weir ordered Wright held on a $10,000 bond on Aug. 25, 2026.
