Mississippi Auditor Tells Graduates Family Is Most Meaningful Thing

Addressing graduates, State Auditor Shad White said family is the most meaningful thing in life, his office said.

He cited a report his office produced a few years ago on the taxpayer cost of fatherlessness in Mississippi, the office said.

White said the report illustrates that family matters not only for personal life but also for taxpayers, according to his office.

He told the graduates they will go on to accomplish incredible things but reminded them that starting a family will be one of the most meaningful things they can do, his office said.
