Mississippi DOT: 1,191 traffic cameras provide real-time road views
The Mississippi Department of Transportation said it operates 1,191 traffic cameras across the state that provide real-time views of road conditions.
The department said the cameras are intended to help people plan road trips, check commutes or view routes before driving.
MDOT said the cameras stream live only and do not record or save video.
The department said the cameras are available through the MDOT Traffic app and at MDOTtraffic.com. MDOT highlighted the cameras in a post marking National Camera Day.
