Hot temperatures are expected to return into next week, with highs gradually returning to the upper 90s to around 100 degrees beginning Sunday, the National Weather Service office in Memphis, Tennessee, said.
Heat index values may rise above 105 degrees in some locations across the Mid-South, the office said, and Heat Advisories may be needed.
Those conditions could affect communities across the Mid-South, the office said.
