FBC Ripley Revival Begins Sunday With Rick Coram
First Baptist Church Ripley will hold its FBC Ripley revival, called Revival Days, from Sunday, Nov. 8, through Wednesday, Nov. 11. Evangelist Rick Coram will preach each night, and the church is inviting the whole community to attend.
The church announced the week on its website and Facebook page, and said it is “ready for revival.” Each night has its own theme, and a different music group will lead worship each evening.
FBC Ripley Revival Schedule and Service Times
The revival opens with Sunday morning worship at 9 a.m. on Nov. 8. Evening services start at 6:30 p.m. each night from Sunday through Wednesday. All services are at First Baptist Church Ripley, 202 E. Pine St. in Ripley.
- Sunday, Nov. 8 – Friend Night: The church is encouraging members to bring a friend. Christian music group The Browders will sing at both the 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. services.
- Monday, Nov. 9 – Family Night: Marty Hurt will lead the FBC choir, and families are invited to worship together.
- Tuesday, Nov. 10 – Pack-a-Pew: First Baptist and Second Baptist Church will sing as a joint choir. Members are asked to invite enough people to fill a pew.
- Wednesday, Nov. 11 – Youth Night: The FBC Youth Praise Team will lead worship, and members are asked to invite a student.
Evangelist Rick Coram and The Browders Return
The church said it is “excited to welcome back” both Coram and The Browders, so both have been to FBC Ripley before. Coram will bring the message every night of the revival.
The Browders will sing only on Sunday, at the morning and evening services. On the other three nights, the music will come from local voices: the FBC choir with Marty Hurt, the combined First Baptist and Second Baptist choirs, and the church’s youth praise team.
Childcare Available Each Night
Parents with young children can still come. The church says a nursery will be provided every night. Children from bed babies through third grade are welcome downstairs for childcare during the evening services.

The revival comes during a busy fall for the downtown congregation. Recent work includes a new clothes closet ministry and a men’s group that builds beds for children in need.
