Ripley will try to keep its district volleyball record unblemished Monday when Senatobia visits for a 6 p.m. match. The Tigers enter 4–0 in district play and 11–11 overall, while Senatobia is 10–4, according to TippahSports.com.

Pine Grove, 7–1 in district play, travels to Thrasher at 6:30 p.m. Falkner also plays on the road at 6:30 p.m., facing Biggersville. Those matches and Ripley’s home contest make up the three-game Monday slate in TippahSports.com’s daily schedule report.
Walnut returns to action Tuesday at New Site at 6 p.m. The Wildcats are 21–4 overall and 5–0 in district play.
Looking ahead this week
Tuesday’s golf schedule lists Pine Grove at Hillandale and Ripley in an 18-hole event listed as Hillendale, with no starting times provided. On Thursday, Walnut plays at Corinth at 9 a.m., and Falkner has a nine-hole event at Booneville at 2 p.m.
Blue Mountain, Pine Grove, Ripley and Walnut are registered for Thursday’s Topper Trails Classic at Blue Mountain Christian University. Varsity girls race at 4:15 p.m., followed by boys at 5 p.m.
All three county football teams are scheduled to play at home Friday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m.: Ripley against Booneville, Falkner against East Union and Walnut against Myrtle.
