MDPS said it paused to remember the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001, and to honor first responders, law enforcement officers, service members and everyday Americans who demonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
The agency said 25 years later it continues to honor their sacrifice, remember their stories and stand united as Americans.
MDPS wrote, “We will never forget.”
The post included the hashtags #NeverForget, #September11 and #PatriotDay, the agency said.
