The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency urged drivers to check the MDOT Traffic app or MDOTtraffic.com for real-time road conditions and warned motorists never to drive on flooded roads, the agency said.
MEMA said the MDOT Traffic app is free in the Apple App Store and on Google Play.
The agency used the ‘Turn Around Don’t Drown’ slogan and reminded motorists, ‘Never drive on flooded roads,’ MEMA said.
For current road conditions, MEMA directed motorists to MDOTtraffic.com or the MDOT Traffic app, the agency said.
