NWS warns of dangerous heat stress in Mississippi through Sunday

The National Weather Service issued a dangerous heat stress warning Wednesday, June 12, through Sunday, June 14, the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency said.

Forecasters expect high temperatures in the mid-90s and heat indices of 105 to 110 degrees, the agency said.

In a post, the agency advised residents to hydrate, wear sunscreen and take breaks.
