Stone County disaster service center moves to Wiggins on Aug. 31

The Disaster Service Center for Tropical Storm Arthur/DR-4930-MS in Stone County will move Monday, Aug. 31, to the Mississippi State Medical Needs Shelter at 1640 Coy Avenue in Wiggins, Stone County officials said.

The change affects only the Stone County site. Locations in Harrison, Hancock and Pearl River counties will remain the same, officials said.

Officials said residents may visit any Disaster Service Center for assistance. They said residents do not have to visit a center to apply for help.

Officials said applications are also available online at DisasterAssistance.gov, through the FEMA app or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).
