The Mississippi Office of the State Auditor said the state ranks second nationally for vehicle registration fees and that state and local governments can act to lower those costs to protect taxpayers.

FEMA urged people affected by Tropical Storm Arthur (DR-4930) to follow key steps when applying for assistance, including answering calls from FEMA and completing a formal application even after reporting damage through Crisis Track.

The BMCU Teaching and Learning Center said it provides one-on-one tutoring and study skills workshops designed to meet students where they are and support academic progress.
