NEMCC says its graduation tonight will honor perseverance and second chances as AE HSE graduates mark achievements and look toward new opportunities.

Northeast Mississippi Community College announced that Joshua Whaley earned his high school equivalency through the college’s Adult Education program at its Booneville campus.

State Auditor Shad White delivered the commencement address at Northwest Mississippi Community College, emphasizing integrity and doing what’s right.

Mississippi disaster assistance centers are opening and remaining open across several counties, with a deadline for applications set for June 10.

Organizers said Burnside Music Fest, set for a few weeks from now in downtown Ripley, has a limited number of arts and crafts vendor spots available. Interested local makers, artists and small businesses were directed to sign up online.
