The office said in a May 15 social media post that the Northeast Mississippi Line of Duty Memorial in Amory on May 7 honored families and agencies of officers who died in the line of duty.

The Mississippi Department of Public Safety said its teams joined Attorney General Lynn Fitch and law enforcement associations at the 16th Annual Fallen Officer Candlelight Vigil to honor officers who died in service.
